Can't make out whether we are in Autumn or Spring, although for me I have spent most of the week here!!!
I suddenly came down with a virus and as much as I tried bed was the only answer, really annoying as I had so much to do, but when I did feel better and on a bright day I ventured into the garden to see how my garden was getting on. The wisteria has started to flower
and the cherry tree agains the wall is now coming into blossom.
The greenhouse is also progressing although not as quick as I would like,
and after taking the photos I managed to fall over with my camera in hand, luckily the camera survived and I got away with just some grazes. I must have looked so elegant!!
(ready for our little holiday next week) is a lovely Jacket and Skirt from Toast, along with a top and plimsolls from Brora, I was hoping for a lovely sunny day to wear them when we visit the Decorative Living Fair in Tunbridge Wells run by Caroline Zoob this Thursday but I just don't think it is going to happen some how, but I might just wear it anyway.
So its off to Kent next week so when I return hope to let you know how the fair went and our holiday!
So sorry I have not visited your lovely blogs this week, but promise I will do so very soon.

But it was a lovely day and so nice to see the sunshine
I have spent most of the day getting ready for another fair in Topsham in Devon so if any of you live in the area I would love to meet you.
Now I am going to let you into a secret since November I have been on a diet (or healthy eating campaign) and I have lost nearly 4 stone I can't tell you what a difference it has made to me and so lovely to choose small sizes from my favorite places and my first new outfit(ready for our little holiday next week) is a lovely Jacket and Skirt from Toast, along with a top and plimsolls from Brora, I was hoping for a lovely sunny day to wear them when we visit the Decorative Living Fair in Tunbridge Wells run by Caroline Zoob this Thursday but I just don't think it is going to happen some how, but I might just wear it anyway.

So sorry to hear that you've had a virus Jill! However, what a wonderful sight it must have been to recover to the blossoming of your lovely wisteria and cherry trees! Mind you, the glimpse of your cosy bed with the vintage eiderdown looks so pretty that I would probably have milked a few more days in there - hopefully you had lots of magazines, books and some hot drinks delivered via waiter service - lol!
ReplyDeleteYour weight loss is an incredible achievement - well done! The outfits will look gorgeous - I'm sure that you will have a wonderful holiday, and re: your comment on my blog - yes, I do think that we have VERY similar taste in interiors - I want your eiderdown! Paula xx
So sorry to hear you're under the weather Jill. Thank you again for stopping by. Your greenhouse is lovely. I love your wisteria. It reminds me of my grandparents. They had the most magnificent wisteria in their yard.

ReplyDeleteFour stone is an amazing achievement. I suspect you'd have gone down harder a few months ago so there's always a silver lining (sorry couldn't resist). Hope you weren't too badly bruised!
ReplyDeleteI love the close up photos of your garden - very stylish.
