I just love this time of year!

My goodness I couldn't believe it but it is nearly six weeks since I wrote my blog.  But today was so beautiful that I just had to go out with my camera and capture this lovely Autumn Day, after of course visiting the Rag and Rummage fair in Taunton, had to get my fix somehow.
I am not a brown, orange or green girl but at this time of year I just love these colours, they just seem to go with blue skies and brighten up dull days (which we seem to have a lot of recently!)
So here are a few photos of my outing this afternoon not far from home.

You know I have been so busy that I feel I am neglecting my home, usually I manage to decorate in some way to celebrate Autumn but have not had the time, but don't you just love this table decoration

This beautiful wreath on the door.

If you are looking for a Christmas Fix then there are 2 fairs that I couldn't recommend more, if you live near Plumpton Racecourse in Sussex, surrounding areas of Lewis and Brighton the Village Vintage fair looks like it is going to be beautiful, with lots of lovely things to buy, I am busy making and foraging for new things to sell, really looking forward to making my stall look as inviting as possible and festive.

The other Fair is The Vintage Christmas Boutique at Woburn Abbey a magnificent setting and looks like it is going to be fabulous, bit of drive but I think it will be worth it.

I now need to visit all the other lovely blogs and will spend the next few days catching up, don't forget to leave some comments as I would love to hear from you all or maybe see you at one of the fairs.

  2. Hi Jill,

Good to read one of your posts again! You must have been busy with all the fairs you have had a stall at. I hope they were successful?!

The photo's of your walk look lovely. The decorations really pretty. I bought my first Christmas decorations this week....I know it is a bit early, but there is so much choice at the moment!

Wish I could visit the fairs you mentioned. They sound good.

    Happy weekend,

  5. Your photos are absolutely beautiful. I too love Autumn, as you would see if you peeped in my wardrobe! I definitely am a green, brown and orange girl. Quite peeved that I live so far away when I see all these posters for such scrummy events. Don't seem to get too many around here. Probably as well as I would always be penniless if there were.

  11. Lovely photos and I particularly like the table decoration. I'm not drawn to autumnal colours either to wear or decorate my home but I do like seeing photos of other people's seasonal decorations. I always think I will do this but never seem to get round to it (apart from Christmas).
